Legal Associate (GovNet)
CLN is looking for a new Legal Associate to join our team!
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, passionate team working at the cutting edge of climate litigation.
As part of the Government Network (GovNet) team, the new Legal Associate will support partners bringing framework climate litigation against governments. You will play a key role in supporting CLN’s partners to develop and strengthen new and existing climate framework cases, as well as CLN’s knowledge management and monitoring and evaluation systems — through legal research, analysis, drafting, and strategic input.
You’ll combine high level knowledge in strategic climate and comparative/international law with great relationship management skills and the ability to analyse and explain complex concepts to a range of legal and non-legal audiences.

Science Advisor
CLN is looking for a new Science Advisor to join our team!
Working in the Science and Law team, you’ll support work to bridge the gap between climate science and law in the context of strategic litigation.
Climate cases increasingly depend on rigorous scientific evidence: this role exists to ensure that CLN’s partners have access to the best available science, that legal teams understand how to use it effectively, and that the scientific community understands what the litigation field needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the cutting edge of climate law and science. You’ll bring relevant expertise in climate science, strong research and analytical skills, and a flair for communicating complex science to non-scientific audiences.
